The Freedom to Create

Clayton and Lynn began their musical journey together in 1991 when Clayton joined "Syren" as bass player. Clayton appeared in "Let Them Live", the video-cassette tribute to the Lubicon Cree  which was aired on Much Music. In 1994 after Syren recorded "Wisdom of the Heart", the couple moved to Clayton's home community on Moose Cree First Nation and began work on their first solo recording, "Red Willow Bending" released locally in 2003."Red Willow Bending" is now distributed by CDBaby worldwide.

With the assistance of a Canada Council for the Arts grant Lynn and Clayton produced father James Cheechoo's "Shaycheeman", a compilation of traditional James Bay fiddle music from the Hudson Bay Company fur trade era.
